We Made It!!

I have lots to share about our last week in Copenhagen, but it will have to save for another day. For now, I just wanted to let everyone know that we made it safe and sound in Elk Rapids, Michigan yesterday afternoon. We're getting adjusted and slowly unpacking our FIFTEEN pieces of luggage. (That includes hand luggage.)

Ruby and Max were absolute champs on the trip and things couldn't have gone any smoother. I just knew that we had so many praying for us and angels were protecting us all along the way.

Jared has had a few new job prospects open up in the last few days, so keep praying. God's timing is perfect and He knows just what He wants for our family. Pray that we have the faith and endurance to just wait on Him.

Snow Day!

Just checking in to let everyone know that we're still here in Denmark... still throwing away and giving away truckloads of stuff... still packing... still hangin' in there.

Two Become One

I'm happy to announce the union of my sister, Alyssa Michelle, to the love of her life, Claudio Antonio Mafuiana today in Maputo, Mozambique!

I am so sad that I am missing another one of my sisters getting married today. I've been thinking about Alyssa and Claudio all day and can't wait to hear all about their big day. At the same time I'm so thankful that God has brought these two people together as only He can.

Lord God, bless this marriage and help them to follow after you all the days of their lives. Thank you for giving my sister a husband who loves You first and thinks the world of her. I can't wait to meet him. Amen.
